This recipe has been in my family for some time. It was handed down to me from my grandmother. (I'm pretty sure, it's from her head and not from a book, so you know it's good and NOT good for you!)
Ingredients:
1 c of crisco (First indication that it's not healthy.)
1 c of butter
1 c of sugar
1 c of powdered sugar
4 c of flour
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Beat crisco and butter, add sugar and eggs
Mix dry ingredients
Mix well and roll into balls
Roll balls in sugar
Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins
So good, they melt in your mouth!
